The honest truth about beauty & personal care products

I can not use anything with sunscreen in it. The Revlon Age Defying foundation had it, but that information SPF20 was entirely too small to be read. I suffered many times before realizes I should get my magnifying glass out to check. I should not have had to do that.

Hi Eileen, I use Redpoint concealer over Inner Light (there are three tones that you can blend as needed) http://truthinaging.com/uncategorized/five-best-concealers

I just purchased the Osmotics Inner light. I am 57 and blessed with nice skin thanks to my mother's genetics. What concealer would you recommend with the Osmotics Inner light? Please advise. Thanks very much.

Thanks Marta. I'll try to source Osmotics Inner Light here in Australia.

Hi Jae. I agree. Most foundations make me look older. I have taken to wearing Osmotics Inner Light most days. It gives a sheer coverage that evens out skin tone and reflects light away from wrinkles. i am on my second tube. You can read about it here: http://truthinaging.com/makeup/osmotics-inner-light-tested-and-recommended

I tried this and like a lot of makeup on 'older' skin it nicely settled into my wrinkles, making them more pronounced than if I wasn't wearing makeup. Those of us who don't intend to have cosmetic surgery or botox are absolutely 'stuck' when it comes to finding a decent makeup that doesn't sit in the wrinkles, and look, dare I say it like Jane Fonda's caked-on makeup!

Hi Susan, often one person's safe is another's poison. You can decide by reading TIA's Ingredients database: http://truthinaging.com/category/ingredients/a You can also get there by clicking on Ingredients at the top of the page in the purple strip.

Thanks for reminding me of this good and inexpensive product I've used in the past. I'm getting down to the bottom of my Lancome foundation and will give Revlon a try again. Can you tell me if aluminum hydroxide and alumina is safe? Thanks.

The very best to choose from for your skin concerns.
