Trolex made their new XD One personal dust monitor so it can be used as a wearable, mountable, or fixed in-cab personal protective instrument. All you need to do is switch it on and you are immediately detecting hazardous particulates in the air. The device features an audible alarm, which warns the user when regulated limits have been reached.
The XD One was independently tested by the UK’s Health and Safety Executive and declared as the most accurate personal dust monitor available on today’s market. This device offers the same level of accuracy as laboratory-grade standards and offers fully customisable STEL and TWA monitoring with associated alarms for PM1, PM2.5, PM4.25 and PM10.
This instrument requires almost no maintenance; all it needs is a one-minute compliance test every 3 to 6 months, which is less maintenance time than some other dust monitoring devices require every day.
The XD One is constantly recording full TSP data, and stores this analysis for up to 10 years, utilising its free BreatheLITE software.
